Előbb vagy utóbb beleőrülök ebbe a félelembe. Bízza rám magát nyugodtan - mondja a pszichiáter - egy év sem kell hozzá és megoldjuk a problémát. Jöjjön el hozzám hetente háromszor és megszabadítom ettől a félelemtől. No és mennyibe kerül? - kérdi a páciens. 80 dollár egy vizit - mondja a doki. Alszom rá egyet-kettőt - feleli a páciens, de a doki hiába várja vissza.
Egy fél év múlva véletlenül összetalálkoznak és a doki megkérdi, hogy miért nem jött hozzá a kezelésekre. Mire a páciens: 80 dollár hetente háromszor, egy teljes éven át, az 12 800 dollár. Egy bárpultos viszont kigyógyított összesen 10 dollárért. Tökéletesen meggyógyított, sőt a megspórolt pénzen vettem egy új kisteherautót. Mire a doki: Ha nem vagyok indiszkrét, és megmondhatja, mégis hogyan gyógyította ki a bárpultos a bajából ? Azt mondta, hogy fűrészeljem le az ágyam mind a négy lábát. Azóta senki sem fér el alatta.
